Love how they made the epilogue longer than in the manga, definetly thought it deserved more time.

What a great story and what a disappointing ending. At first I thought that it might be unfair to ask from the story with impossible parameters. After all there is no possible logical conclusion, it will always have holes, so some lenience is deserved. But it was terrible on so much more than just logical consistency. I've had to force myself to watch episode 25 and it highlighted even more of this obvious degradation: I expected them to cover the bad aftertaste with some slice of life mascara, instead they brought more pain by touching previous inconsistencies and turning entire work borderline meaningless. There's no bittersweet ending if both parts are bitter, it was a terrible choice to not end with episode 24.

That being said, absolutely worth a watch, some incredible twists and turns.

I wanted to see him say that I love you!!! Glad that they got their memories back at the ending. I was like... wait a moment, that was with her shadow!! So dope she got all the memories as well!!!!

Beautiful sweet ending! 😍 Time works in mysterious ways.... Sad they all dont remember everything but maybe Ushio and Shinpei remembered at the end against fireworks!! was so glad, ushio was too adorable as free-spirited shadow babe! Amazing Karagiri was old man now with the rest!!! Also it was sooo emotional when Shinpei saw grownup Ryonosuke again!!!😭❤ He helped him soo much like Hizuru! I thought Shinpei would be so happy to see the kind boy again, he would spontaneously hug him!! So wholesome! Summertime Rendering, living in the summer, time!!!😍 20.3.2023

Didn't really like the ending, they barely did anything with memories of the "other" life. The voice acting was muffled sometimes and not as good as it could have been. 7/10 The rest was fire.

decent anime, i like the good guys, most were flushed out characters.
I like the MC and the girl too.
Only problem i have, is regarding the Villain, he's too mid. Also that part of holding up the bad guy for 2 mins, is just too overused, not bad but overused.
But surely a good watch

Overall I'll give it a 7.6/10

One of the best Psycho-thriller anime series I've watched… plus the ending is so satisfying. I highly recommended it for others to watch. 10/10 for me.
